nothing mini about it

So, we still have to catch up on a full blog about our anniversary weekend.
And a post for our babe, who turned 8 months old yesterday!

But right now, I just can't wait! Had to show you all our new toy.

We actually bought it on Saturday, while on vaca. (Yup. I said "vaca.") But we wanted to purchase our vehicle Dave Ramsey style. (Cay-sh money, Baby!) We didn't think we would actually find the one, so we left our checkbook at home. Oops.

We met the dealer guy halfway between our house and the car lot tonight and brought our sweet ride home. I already have my radio presets programmed. Now I just need parking lessons. Seriously.

This was the first time either of us have bought a car from a dealer. It was an interesting experience. Lots and lots of on-the-spot praying. And...I don't bite my nails, but in two days, my digits went from actually pretty ok (one length) to this (ripped to nonuniform shreds).

Dropping that many dolla's in one transaction is not something I could do every day. For several reasons.

Between baby gear and dog stuff, I think this will be such a headache preventer. The stigmas have already proven to be unavoidable. But if my opinion counts for anything, this is probably the most hip-looking minivan around.

(Bring on the mom jeans.)

Now, we just have to name the thing. I've never named a vehicle before. Possible options: Vince Van, Mickey Blue, Ceiling Van, Blue Velvet, and Vanna White.

Have you ever named your car?
